morning prayers

Great Holy Father, let this my first thought in this day be gentle.

i awaken and start this day, this gift of life, with respect and kindness to myself and all the living things on the Great Mother.

i start mindful that my first thoughts set the tone for this day.

my thoughtsof yesterday may have been sad and sorrowful.my body

in this lifetime is my temple and i become aware of what energies that i am storing in it.

Great One i let the east light of illumination dawn upon what i have stored and those i do not need ilet thedawning of the east light brings awarness to the pain, anxiousness or sorrow.

east light of the morning allows me to sharpen my awarness and gather clues so i can shift my awarness to the peaks and valleys in this day.

i am not my experiences as the price i have paid is too great. i can change distrubing effects and alter my energy.

i see a warrior ride up onto the horizon on great horse and on his shield he carries the east light of the dawn that illuminates all life. this gives me insight to my being.

thank you for this great one, thank you for the east and light and life.

thank you for the gentleness i bring into my being.

thank you for the chance to use this time as a new canvas so i may see beauty on it when day births the west and the graciousness of the night.

i bow my head inquietness for all things that have life.

in this moment is my birth-day and for this am grateful.
